I know how to thread a 35mm projector from when I was a projectionist in high school and college. It's pretty hard to find content around this stuff nowadays.
I have a distinct memory of a manger telling me that having projectionist skills is such a good skill to have because when he was in his 20s and 30s no matter where he moved there was always a movie theater that needed a projectionist. The next year we had the first digital projector installed, marking the end of the profession.
