What interview questions do you think are more effective at evaluating a programmer's real-world skills?

My favorite one is actually an incredibly popular one. "What happens when you type google into a browser and press enter?" It's so easy, as the interviewer, to see where people's lack of understanding is and it's pretty revealing (to me) with how they handle some targeted followup questions. Are they defensive? Do they actually surprise you with knowledge? Do they act more curious? Do they talk in circles around the question and never answer it?
I really like the question because it shows me a little bit of how they might interact with team members when they approach areas that are a little outside their experience.
