Do you take your work laptop on vacation?

But I *do* check email once or twice through our portal. I'm a manager and need to make sure I'm not coming back to any critical fires. :/ But my team knows how to get in touch with me for emergencies and is pretty good about letting me have my time (and I do the same for them).
Nope.
I used to though... but now that I take vacation during a time where A LOT of people at my work are also on vacation, it's really easy to disconnect without guilt.
@sudorandom If I had my work laptop, I would not be on vacation. 😆
More seriously though, if I can't take a properly unplugged vacation, that's a failing on the company's part, and I will probably be looking to change that or my role.
